There are many ways to donate to the Closet
Donating Clothes
Donations of good quality, in-style, gently-used or new clothes and shoes are accepted at the church. We accept clothes for both adults and children. We ask that donated clothing be in good condition (freshly-laundered, please) using the rule of thumb, "Would I want my child to wear this to school?" It is important that clothes be free from stains, tears, rips, holes, etc. We want children to feel good about themselves and the clothing that they choose at the Clothes Closet. Let's keep these clothes out of basements and garages, and out of landfills.
Items we can ALWAYS use (we never seem to have enough of):
- infant clothing
- children's clothing
- XL and larger clothing
- New underwear & socks
- tennis shoes
- towels/sheets/household linens
Giving your Time
Volunteering your time will consist of lifting heavy bags or boxes, hanging clothes in their designated places, placing shoes and household items on shelves, taking out the trash and maintaining a neat and orderly Clothes Closet!
Financial Contributions
We also accept financial contributions.
Please consider this when you are looking for a worthwhile charity to donate financially to. Even if you can't afford to donate much, every $1 helps. We will be more than happy to mail you a receipt for your FINANCIAL tax deductible contribution if you so desire one.
Hold a Clothes Closet clothing drive
at your school, office, church, or other group location.
When you donate to this ministry you will know that it is not going to pay salaries as everyone who works in this ministry is a volunteer. Instead it will go to help as many people as possible through the various works that we do.
